At the beginning of the 2023 season, the High School Football America South Carolina Top 10 showcases a familiar contender. Dutch Fork, who has claimed six out of the last seven 5A state championships, takes the lead in our preseason rankings for the entire state, which are made possible by NFL Play Football. The Silver Foxes are also in the discussion for the national championship, securing the 11th spot in the HSFA 300 preseason rankings.
All of our rankings are developed using our special formula that has been utilized to rank teams at the national, regional, and state levels since 2013.
During their regular season, Dutch Fork will face off against four teams that hold national rankings.The Silver Foxes begin their season down in South Georgia, where they’ll face the 18th-ranked Colquitt County in a game that’ll be shown on TV all over the country by FloFootbal .
On August 25, Dutch Fork will welcome Spartanburg, the 6th-ranked team in South Carolina and holding the 261st national ranking. Then, on September 1, Hough from North Carolina, positioned at No. 130 in the HSFA 300 rankings, will come to Irmo, South Carolina. Looking ahead to September 22, Weddington from North Carolina, ranked at No. 165, will pay a visit to DF.
