The Arkansas Sports Writers Association released their preseason rankings for 2023, and all seven current AHSAA state champions are starting the season as the number-one teams in their classes. This includes Class 2A, Class 3A, Class 4A, Class 5A, Class 6A, and class7A Glenwood is also ranked as the top team in the first AISA poll.
